Bringing Light into the Darkness
In these difficult and seemingly impossible times, it is the light we shine into the world that will dispel the darkness. Our elderly population needs our light now, more than ever.
As a community, we have a responsibility to ensure that all seniors receive the vital social services and incredible programming offered by the Cummings Centre. Many of our members are Holocaust survivors or children of survivors, and the current situation is taking a toll on their mental health, making them more vulnerable and socially isolated.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we are a community of hope. Together, we will support each other. By donating to the Cummings Centre Foundation, you can help brighten the lives of so many.
In Montreal, about 21% of Jewish seniors live below the poverty line, and 1 in 4 seniors battle mental illness, a staggering statistic. It’s imperative that we unite and extend a helping hand to our seniors during their most trying moments. They are counting on us. Can we count on you?
As you light the Chanukah menorah, reflect on the good you can bring into the world. Donate to the Cummings Centre Foundation today and be a beacon of joy and light for our seniors.
Please consider donating to the Cummings Centre Foundation this Chanukah.
Together, we can brighten the lives of our seniors!
